I have such warm memories of Auntie Kit. I remember when I was in junior school she and my mum went to all kinds of adult education classes together,  often at Pinkwell School in Hayes or with the Townswomens Guild.  I remember they did quilting, pewterwork, basketwork, and lampshade making (see Jackie's photo!) and probably more. They had a lot of fun and there was much laughter.  We also shared several family holidays together. I shall always remember her infectious giggle and her kindness to me.
