I have known Jackie since we were 12 years old, we are dear friends and so I have known Kit too for all this time. Sometimes she picked us up from school in the car. To me she always looked like a film star and never spoke a bad word about anyone. Sometimes Jackie and I would go for a swim at Yiewsley pool where she worked part time and she would always let us in with a smile. Kit's smile showed an inner happiness that came from the love of her dear husband Syd and all her family. Her giggle was joyful. I was fortunate enough recently to spend several hours one evening with her while Jackie and Mick visited Laura and family.We had a glass of ginger wine together while she told me how she had met Syd and we shared some lovely moments reminiscing which I shall always remember. She was a truly lovely lady.
